saregamapa the ever best music talent show in india i wish ye vishwayudh jaari rakhe
I think Poonam should get eleminated. My great fear is Aneek probably would get eliminated. Both Aneek and Amanat should be there in the final. They are the two who make the Show melodious, and don’t just strain their vocal chord. Aneek has won the Zee Bengali Musical Contest, where results were decided by the expert judges – not by votes. Amanat has also won another Zee Zee Musical contest. So justifiably they should defenitely make to the Final.
I think Aneek should get eliminate next week, because he is copying great singer’s song, he has nothing to add, change or create any new thing in the song, but the ” GURUs “ I have no idea why they are backing him?
This time gurus are just gurus, not saying right thing, just advertising there films, songs and other activities from this platform, I have no clue why ZEE providing this free platform for these people, they are not judging properly, backing there own singers, if this type of selection they are providing in this great event, means poor (wrong) judgment, low standard, biasing, I have say a lot but it is enough.
I don’t like Himes Reshammiya at all, because he is from the place where money is every thing (I think every one have an idea, what I am talking about), he is money guy that’s all, regarding his talent, I haven’t seen any thing in him rather then little bit of POP music, his voice is not ataractic at all, songs lyrics are poor (not appealing), lot of thing to say, but in my view, he is just simple low level singer.

I hate this guy “Himesh Heshammiya” he is backing Aneek for his own interest. Because he don’t want to lose his rep. He don’t want people to say that OH Himesh Heshammiya brought this guy (Aneek) and he couldn’t make it to the finals. Aneek should be out long time a go.

i too agree . while saregamapa 2007 was for the search of a new talent its rather being used for promoting films, music videos. the cheap comments & the talk about the love triangle that himesh keeps on repeating is so boring and pathetic . zee tv please do not let himesh torture us. send him out of the show as early as possible.
I strongly disagree with you all. Himesh is simply great and with exception of you all everybody likes him. This was proven by the kind of collection his movie AKS bagged.

Sorry , I disagree with u,Aneek is a good singer , but Raja and Poonam are more talented than him ,Himesh is dominating the show and making it so commercialized which is sickening and spoiling the beauty of the show.Himesh’s comments and support to Aneek is so obvisous as though there is no other person better in the show , which I do not agree , it is making me dislike Aneek , otherwise he too is a good singer but sorry not the best.
I read here ppl are saying that poonam has not given any memorable performance. I think, she is the only contestent in sa re ga ma pa who has given a consistent performance with all variety of songs. In fact Raja, Amanat and Aneek could not do it like this. Poonam must win the final. She is the most deserving condition. Can anyone has the guts here to come at this level with this background. Or, her MOM is sick but, in spite of the without any pressure she is giving fantastic performance and always smiling.
If, u ppl have remember, very long back, our legendry singer Asha Jee has already told Poonam that she is a play back singer. She has a tremendous potential.
Guys vote for her. She has never told her story by herself. In fact she does not want at all. She is a very very geniune singer. In fact she has not any doing Lab Lab things on the stage. She is a singer. And, this competition is for singing, not for glamour or acting or LATKE and JHATKE.
She is the only girl left in the contest. I will say vote for her. SHe is the example for all and say us that how you can do it from in spite of any family condition, monetry status, caste, religion or village or town. whatever, it is what matters is HARD WORK and DEDICATION, which, she has.

Raja and Poonam are very very good singers and so is Amant, while Aneek is good (only good , not very very good)
Aneek and Raja are versatile singers. Aneek is good for every film stars. His voice quality is really good. On the other hand, Raja sings other type of songs but on the high tone, Raja is the BEST on those songs.
I am very happy that they are in the contest. I wish Sumedha was also there so that it would have been very interesting.

I Think it is most probably Aneek who should be eliminated this time..u cant eliminate Raja bcoz he is GEN-NEXT singer..his voice is alarmous and great..he has got distint voice..
And as for Amanat and poonam, they have always been consistant there.. Amanat has sung for every singer..

Unis its look like u understand singing. I agree with you. From week 1 till present Aneek has sung only high pitch or high tone songs, on the other hand Raja, Amanat and Poonam have sung all types of songs. But Anand is crazy about Aneek. I believer Anand have a very bad choice, he doesn’t know about singing at all.
Aneek Sang only one slow song and he got very low marks for, “Har ghari badal rahi hai roop zindagi” from the movie “Kal Ho Na Ho”

Aneek is a contemporary singer and he should be one of the finalists.
I miss Sumedha a lot. She was very good singer and I hope Bappi da would do sth about her as he promished. This POONAM is telling lot of stories and she spoiled Sumedha’s bright chances.
Amanat is somehow surviving because of his looks. Raja has nothing – neither look nor voice. He and Poonam must be out.

Nadir – Aneek won the other show of Saregamapa. The Judges there decided to give him Championship. Thoese Judges are not blind who can give Championship without proper singing. He is a versatile singer and can sing any type of song.
I wish him all the best and he will again win this World Cup 2007.

Poonam is an average singer. Aneek and Raja are the main contestants for this competion. Amanat is good but not like Aneek.
I understand Aneek has better chances because he has already won the other Sa re ga ma pa.
So to my understanding Poonam should be OUT of this competetion since she has been getting only sympathy votes. She seems to be clever also.
Himesh needs to behave like a mature mentor. He has over promoted Aneek and lets face the fact Aneek is a good Sonu Nigam copy but does not deserve to be the winner of this show. Raja and Amanat are way more superior. It is a shame that Himesh promoted Aneek so much until Mussart until he goes eliminated. We have a seen many people copy great singers like mukesh, Rafi and Kishore but no one has come as close to Nusrat Fateh Ali like Mussart did. My cousin works with Zee and told me that he is the only one contestant that has received no singing contracts as yet.
Please vote sensibly. Look at the singers and not the mentors!!!

Judging from the response of the judges, the freshness. structure of voice and tonal quality, Amanat should win the race. All the Ghazals he sang, he sang them better than the original singers. For example listen to the same ghazals-Mitwa & Hosla by Shafqat Amanat Ali and compare. Shafqat sang in the original score “Kavi Alvida Na Kehna”.
Both Aneek & Raja are superb singers. Somehow, I think, Poonam does not measure up to the other three. But I wish her well.

Many ppl r saying that raja shud get out of the competition because of his last 2 weeks performance, but if u look at the overall performance he has done an amazing job.The judges shud be looking at what things he has done good, just cuz of hiz bad performances of 2 weeks, doesn’t give the judges(himesh reshamia ji) a good reason 2 pick on him all the tyme.so bak off cuz raja is gonna take it all !!!

Sorry, some have been proved wrong. Aneek has received maximum number of votes. Amanat should have been a very close second. Today, of course Amanat sang the best and Aneek was genuinely praised by the two stalwarts of Hindusthani music. I am glad that we the voters are being sensible and voting with an open mind. One should not hold any grudge against any of these young contestants. They all are talented.May the best one win!

it is a fact that all the singers on sa re ga ma pa had their individuals personalities and brought somehting new to the satge… but on the cummulative whole look at it fomr the prespective of singing… poonam and amanat have been consistently good…too bad one is a girl and one a guy from a different country
Aneek has a sweet voice as do many like him… but he doesnt have any spark except HR’s endless rant “MINDBLOWING”
Raja is exceptional in a couple of songs “ramta jogi” being my favourite but he is inconsistent and somehow i dont like the whole nice guy act…
poonam’s vande maataram stirred up emotions so strong i didnt know existed… her sabki baratein made u feel her pain… ni mein samaj gayi and kahi aag lage could sell a million more copies of taal if she re-rocrded it

I think either Amant or Poonam would get eliminited.I don’t like HImesh’s boaring comments: “mindblowing, outstanding …….”.He always play politics no doubt Aneek is really very good singer and has ability to be next sa re ga ma pa champ. Himesh shouldn’t criticise other contester at this stage since it affects the public voting.
– Poonam sang with most emotion. She’s my favourite. I don’t care for the sympathy angle. Perhaps ZTV is trying to sell the show, to give it some spice. I don’t know and don’t care. She is great. She has had the most number of outstanding performance. Her singing stands own its own. She doesn’t need that other crap. In fact, I wish it did not come out.
– Raja has an outstanding voice but has been inconsistent. Perhaps due to song-selection. However, a couple of his songs are simply outstanding, like divine inspiration.
– Aneek has been most consistent. He deserves to be in final 4 and his singing is blemished by Himesh. People think he’s advancing on Himesh’ propaganda, but most people are not that stupid. However, I can’t say that his performances have touched my heart.
– Amanat has improved the most. He is silky smooth and has been the best lately. Again, perhaps because I am male and like females, I haven’t found many of his performances outstanding.
This is the best sa-re-ga-ma-pa ever. The most talented singers and each has their own style and personality.
Hope they do a tour. I would definitely go.

I think Amanath is the best singer. He has sang all styles of songs and songs from different singers. His Gazals were simply the greatest. Even the two gazal usrads have said he is the number1. Aneek is a very good singer, sings all kinds of songs, but still not to the level of Amanath. Raja has great voice, certain songs suits him the best, but not all kind of songs and has not been consistent. So definitely these three are the finalists and Amanath should be number1; but he will not be because of Aneek’s and HR’s publicity

did any one realize that this is not a real telant show, its money making machine, where ZEE is CEO and HImesh is their VP of sales and Shekhar n his buddy are Manager who trys to keep the compay’s reputation up..guys i feel bad for all of you that ZEE is making money of everything that they do on show..al metor is getting PAID…with himesh, he is honest guy but he donest know how to act..war can be fought two diffrent way ..one way is GANDHI..and 2nd is Hitor.. sa re ga ma pa is probably the best musical talent competition in the world. The quality of the singers are awesome. Last year was an aberration and it was more like Indain Idol. The singers this year are of great quality. Based on yesterday’s performance, Amanat and Aneek seems to be better than others. Poonam is not of the same level as the other three – nevertheless she is wonderful. This is a competition of the best talent. She certainly has loads of it and it is phenomenal where she rose from. She should have the best that world has to offer and there is life beyond this competition – I hope she bags some contracts. But credit to the voters, they have certianly chosen the best three.

This show has lost its old charm how can Sa re ga ma pa can have this format…Sangeet can not be vishvayuddh…and Himesh reshmiya is the duryothan of all. I like Bappida and the kapoor brothers.

Aneek is the best singer. He is very talented and can sing varieties of songs. That is not the case with Amanat and Raja. As far the guru’s are concerned all are interested in their Chela win only thing is Himesh openly admits.
Please vote for Aneek. If most of you noticed all of them ( 3 top three winners had their moments. But Aneek is very consistent.

…Above all Raja, i think he is a versatile singer. i do agree at times he did’nt give that great performances..but everybody has there ups and downs..but when he singz bad..its like every body pinpoints..i mean he’s the object of attention at that moment..too bad.. i think he is really great..i loved his omkara and yes vade mataram.

Himesh should change is behavior. Its beyond the limit as a judge. He won’t enjoy singing except Aneek’s. He is acquitting partiality on RAJA.

If you closely watch the expert judges ( Ghazal’s roind) all but Amamat judgements were clearly honored by the Guest Judges. Thoes guest Judges are the masters of the universe and their domain and they clearly said that Amanat you are the #1 as far as they were concerend. So i guess if we go by what these ultimate ultimate Guest Judges judgement, Amanat should be #1.
And yes i agree with this Forum that Ramesh should tapped his mouth , either talk less (like other coaches) or leave the show.
When Poonam was eliminated, they were showing all her performances. i observed closely right from the beginning, Ismail Darbar started dramebaji about Poonam that she is making only 600 rupees in front of Mahagurus so they sympathize her and make her through in their rounds. in the middle of programme, Poonam repeated her entire story to get number 1 position.
it is only a singing competition. if you want to beg and make money and become famous then Poonam should sing on the street where she becomes more famous.
we don’t want to see you Ismail Darbar anymore after this competition.
himesh – change your habits and stop this love story. you should have respect for the honourable guests. you don’t want to even leave them. shame on you.

i am a very crazy guy about poonam inspite of her poor performances.
Today’s music directors who are made judges in SAREGAMAPA show lack of skill in asssessing or judging the quality of voice, because either they don’t understand,or they are carried away by just supporting their own favorite siger. This is undesirable, unprofessional and unethical for a show like this. Partiality was evidently clear in yesterday’s show.I think,Ismail is the only music director who is different than others and his place should be after Rahman, the mastero,in originality and understanding of Hindi music. But on Saturday,he appeared subdued and did n’t give his frank comments about the singing of Anek. Every one with some sense of music knows Anek is not as good as other singers in the competition.
I don’t think it’s fair to judge Aneek based on Himesh, or Himesh’s shameless self-promotion. Contestants should be chosen based on performance and talent, and NOT sympathy or drama. Even though I admit Poonam is a versatile singer, I don’t think she was good enough to be in the top three. Amanat is one of the contestants who has shown constant improvement in his performances. However, I’m afraid he won’t make it to the final two. I have a strong feeling it’s going to be Raja vs. Aneek as it’s always been.
I hope the public don’t do the same mistake they did for the last season. For those that remember, Hemachandra should have been in the final two against Vineet. It’s sad how regional differences play a huge role in this competition.
Anyways, that being said, may the best player win. They’re all winners anyways. They all have record deals already. My personal choice would be Raja.
Himeshchandra was very very good and Karuna was excellent in Indian Idol. They lost because of States.
They are singing songs in film industry. After all film industry needs talent.

I agree with you Kartik he is the NO 1. I think we indians are not giving him votes because we don’t want any paki to win. And if you look at all the Judges the support Raja and Aneek way more than Amanat. They speak alot about Aneek and Raja regardless of their performance

Guys…Think why the final is being held between three contestants?
In previous show, the format was clearly shown that the final will be between two contestants.
This is a commercial strategy of ZEE TV. Now they want to become the most popular channel in pakistan also. The problem is that they cannot modify the voting pattern because it is being handled by an independent technology consulting firm.
Three contestants theory was thought because then the indian votes will split between Raja and Aneek. While pakistani votes will go only for Amanat.
Now Musharraf is also not there so Amanat is getting all the pakistani votes, Poonam was strategically discouraged and removed from the show so that she should not cut votes from ismail fans.
Indians from india and all over world, please vote RAJA, because he has a better fan following than Aneek.
Just read the abusive comments from pakistani’s on the zee television forum.

Dal i think Poonam was agreat singer..she had a very gud voice, i know she did’nt had this regular thin voice, but her quality of voice matched Asha bhosle..poor girl was out due to sabotage.btwayz the only thing lacking in her was her personality..since she come from a shack, u can still see, she was doing pretty gud out there..himesh was the one who kept talking aboout her gareebi, and tat is how ppl started hating her coz ppl started thinking tat everybody is voting her out of pity..well i liked her voice, she was wonderful..u will see, she’ll be the future playback singer..just wait and watch.
sara, in my opinion Poonam was a crap singer and somehow she got till final stage after spoiling Sumedhas chances. We should not blame Himesh for this. Himesh a a very straight forward guy and he tells things outright instead of doing balancing act as was obvious during last episode.

Listen guys… If you start watching the performance of Amanat, Aneek and Raja from the beginning you will come to know that on every instance Amanat have provided him self the best among others as he is one of the versotile singer in the competition.. Infact this singer is beyond this competition.. This have been said by Jagjit Singh and Shekhar as well.. Raja is a very good singer and have a perfect voice but he’s not versotile. He only sings the songs of Kailash Kher or Sukhwinder singh.
the bollywood have already got Sukhwinder Singh and Sonu Nigam then why should they hunt for the talents like Raja and Aneek. Amanat is a very different singer and there is no such singer like him so far in the bollywood..

Beside, Zee production team and HR, Ismael Darbar is equally responsible for ignoring Amanat (He is at HR mercy currently and therefore won\’t let Amanat win)
Someone should send a legal notice to Zee to treat Amanat equally and to give him equal air time.
I can\’t believe on listeners who think Raja is best. He did not even sing Chayyan Chayyan better and his sur were all over. He can be good for concerts as there are so many others are.
Can Raja sing songs of Mukesh, Rafi, Manna Day (we already saw how he screwed up his song), Sehgal, Sonu, Udit or Kumar Sanu.. He is just a hype
Aneek is just \”sweeeeeeeeet voice\” and nothing else. He does not even have manly voice.
At the end, They would just let Amanat number 2 to show the world. Forget the time, when his father won the top prize in 1999 because Sonu was hosting the show and this program was really a talen hunt show but now it\’s all about public voting who know nothing about music and grade singers based on their dances on stage which is meant to be for a playback singer.
I say it again, bring Lata and Udit today in this competition and they\’ll be out in 4 programs because, they can\’t dance, physically perform and have no attraction

Most of the comments here are reacting to DAL. A negative character. Same is the case with Himesh Besharmiya, he is so loud (read vulgar) and gets negative attention.
Story telling is good, but talent takes the beating. HR has damaged his credibility with this show. I have stoped listennig to HR music after seeing SA RE GA MA PA.
Most of the celebrity guests approve of HR, but listen to judges who are singers, they are not with aneek.
Ali!! I completely agree with you.. Infact speaking generally this SAREGAMA is a talent hunting program.. I think it’s not a talent hunting program any more as judgement is done on voting system..
Another thing is the bollywood already have Sukhwinder Singh, Kailash Kher & Sonu Nigam which are the best singers in the industry.. Why looking at Raja and Aneek then… Amanat have a completely different voice and is unique.. This have already been said by Jagjit Singh & Pandit Jasraj. This have also been accepted by Shekhar in the last show..
In other words we hardly get such kind of singers among more then 50 singers..
Raja was good in the beginning but his performance goes up and down. He is good in one episode and next one, he lets his position down.
Amanat sings same singing. There is no change. Moreover, Ismail Darbar knows how to bring his singer up like he did for Poonam. Right from the first show, he started telling her stories like poor, mother and all bullshits.
Aneek also sings in the same voice. Since it is public voting and somebody has to win then I think Aneek has better chances although Himesh has already spoiled his image.

I agree with most of you all. I am really digusted with HR, he speaks without using his head and is not adding value to the show. If you noticed he has not got anyone left whom he had before Aneek fell on his lap. Aneek is a good singer and his singing technique is above the talent hunt show. Sa re ga ma should be supportig new comers who are learning under those Gurus. The true competition should be between (Poonam, Amanat, Raja). Sadly Poonam was voted out on her performance when she had throat problems and could not sing well. Pathetic.
Have you noticed another irritating habbit of HR he for nothing interrupts Vishal and Shekhar, in my opinon they are more positive and supporting for all singers unlike HR. What you guys think?
What ever said and done, this is by far the best SA RE GA MA PA contest I have ever seen. This is probably the best Indian singing competition.

Amanat Ali moved everyone on the sets of Saregamapa to tears on this Monday when he sang Tujhe Naraz Nahi Hai Zindagai (Masoom).. He was asked to sing it not only 1 time, not 2 but 4 times.. The moment he finished the song all the mentors, guests (Dus Kahaniyan cast and director), audience and the crew on the sets were in tears.. Amanat was asked to repeat the song three more times.. On hearing his soulful performance, he was given many offers during the shoot.. Seems like it was Amanat’s day! (Way to go Amanat!)

I appreciate that you guys do understand as to what music is and who is the best singer in the current sa-re-ga-ma-pa contest. I personally feel that Amanat has not been given good songs most of the time, otherwise he is a class apart. He is such a versatile singer that it is difficult to find singers like him today.
Inspite of all that, his performance has been exceedingly well and, he had been just outstanding. We appreciate his talent and absolutely flawless singing.
I will appeal to all those music lovers to please vote for him so that he gets his due. If you have been observing his conduct, that has been of a matured person inspite of his young age. When it comes to music we ought to remember that music has no boundaries, and no lines drawn in the minds. I am an Indian and I love India as my country but I love Pakistan as well. Because we are the same people, have the same culture, speak the same language and before August 15, 1947 we had no boundaries, and it(India+Pakistan) was one country. It is therefore, more important for us to have mutual respect for each other and extend our love and affection towards our bretherens.
Let us be honest and vote for the best whether it is Amanat, or Aneek,or Raja. However, if you believe that Amanat is really the best then join me and vote for him.

Even when he sang ever so wonderfully last week Himesh had to mention Aneek in his comments to Amanat. And later when Aneek asked for points, he wanted to know first how many points Amanat received. Being neutral I’ll say that after watching the performance of Amanat in “Tujh se Naraz nahin” I’ll say that he have chocked my heart… It’s my humble request to every one pls vote for Amanat as this performance have made all the viewers cry….. The major change he brought with this performance is he made Himesha Reshmiya stopped supporting Aneek.. At last HR gave his positive comments to Amanat..
I again request to all you people PLS PLS vote to Amanat…. as while singing he was crying cause he’s all alone out there without his family and wihout his people.. I’ll say he have never got the support like Raja and Aneek did but with his performance he have always proved himself many times..

I have been watching SAREGAMAPA religiously. I have also been reading various blogs due to HR. I used to think that I am the only one feels insulted by each of HR’s derogatory remarks for Raja. I always felt that HR’s remarks are insult to intelligence. Later I came to know that I am not alone, there are tons of people who are in the same boat…
having said that, coming to the point where people say that ” cone on INDIANS…vote for Amanat. Because Indian’s are not voting that’s whay he is not on the top of the list”. I ask same people..do you think without INDIA’s vote Amanat would be where he is today? Amanat has a beautiful voice. No doubt about it. However, can you compare a graduate from IIT and a graduate from Jhumritilaiya.
Now talking about RAJA….as episode after episode…learned people in GAYAN/GAYIKI field said…RAJA IS RAJA. No comparison. I have a formal training in music. I do understand music to say what I am saying. RAJA is excellent…..do not compare cubic zirconia (aka: American Diamond ) with real DIAMOND. That ‘s all I have to say.
So please vote wisely, because we are the one who have to tolerate them in years to come.

They are kind and cooperative..and no doubt without there votings it wouldn’t have been possible for Amanat to reach this stage.. There is a difference between RAJAA and AMANAT.. RAJAA is a superb singer with a powerful voice.. Amanat have been declared as top among all the singers by all the mentors and the senior judges like Pandit jasraj and Jagjit singh… I’m not supporting Amanat cause of he’s my fav it’s just a neutral decision…. Now looking at the performance of Amanat at “Tujh se naraz nahin” I guarantee that most of the people will change their decisions…

Even though Indian ppl are supporting Amanat (thank you so much!), it is so sad that because of politics Amanat is not getting the airtime that Aneek or Raja receive. We have singers like Aneek and Raja already, but Amanat’s allroundedness is astounding. Farah Khan, Jagjit, Pundit jee commented on Amanat’s ability and he was even offered to sing in one of Farah’s next movie soundtracks. Aneek last week was doing “variations” only because that is Amanat’s uniqueness. Aneek should never have been in the top 3. Raja definately has a wonderful voice, but Amanat is not surpassed by even him.

I remember watching the movie that Amanat sang the song from (Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi). The movie is called Masoom. There was this cute little kid in the movie, and when he sang the song i remember the scene in the movie and it made me cry. I understand most of the people dislike Himesh Reshmayia but everyone is misjudging Aneek’s performance. Aneek is the only one contestant fit for Bollywood playback singing because his tone can match with EVERY SINGLE VOICE! Also, he is the only one with incomparable talented singer. Raja and Amanat are also good singers but Raja’s tone is for Qawwali & Sufi music type. Sorry to say, Amanat’s performance CANNOT reach Aneek’s talent.

Raja will win even though Amanat’s performance in every show touches soul, he can hit notes that not many even in Bollywood can hit at the moment. He has a voice of a sufi which can touch you deeply and is a the most versatile and technically perfect singer. But being from Pakistan, what are the chances, Indians are actually gonna’ vote for him. And I thought this country knows about singing talent but its popularity contest now isn’t it.
Guests on the show, judges all agree that at this point, it doesn’t matter who wins (at least not Aneek!). Amazing are the offers that Amanat is getting from directors so even if India does not vote him as the best, the rest of the world does recognize him as the best. He is so polite, humble–that alone makes one feel touched by his performance. His voice is unbelievable. Speechless……

There is no point in arguing with you because whatever people may say you are taking a negative meaning out of it. So, you just like Raja and that is fair and you keep voting for Raja. But, dont say that Amanat didnt have depth and deep emotions while singing the song that is just ridiculous. All the people who were there were not stupid and also a lot of viewers who now are voting for Amanat are not stupid. Everyone can see and feel the depth and emotion he put in the song, its not he lyrics or the popularity of the song, it is just because of Amanat’s voice and the feeling he generated in the song. When sameer sang that song, people cried because he did sing well with a lot of emotion and more so because he was a kid singing that song and in Amanat’s case people cried only because of the emotions he generated while singing.
Secondly, you are saying that Amanat was overhyped, for your kind information he has been in bottom 2 so many times due to regionalism/favoritism/pseudo nationalism by Indians. Off late he has been getting least number of votes from Indians because of these reasons, but he melted every ones ego by his singing talent and humility. Ultimately, Amanat has conquered the Indian hearts by his singing talent, there was no over hype at all and ID unlike other mentors never pleaded for votes for Amanat and he also didn’t create any stories to push him. Aneek has always been in top 2 because he was over hyped so much and being an Indian it was very easy for him to win the competition. The real singer is one and only Amanat who stole all our hearts and just by one song. Either you are stupid to say that Amanat didn’t have depth/emotions or all those people who are voting for Amanat are stupid and so many people can’t be stupid. So,the fact is Amanat is a true and best singer.

I am a Malaysian Chinese and I never watch this show untill last month when my friend came to our house and put this show on, initially i was not so interested simply because i don’t watch Zee channel because i don’t understand but after I saw Amanat performance. hmmmmm he is a very good singer, i don’t know what he is singing but i enjoy his singing. Now i wait for this show to see amanat performance. last week when they said he got low votes, i send almost 30 votes for him. he desrve it.

may amanat ,the truly deserving contestant , win this competition. there is no doubt that aneek and raja are great performers ( dancing and showy) but as far as voice quality , versatility , composure and cosistency is concerned , amanat has no comparison. way to go amanat
Aneek has great melodious voice nobody could deny. Any song he sings very well. He is never out of tune at all from pop to classical piece. That is great advantage for a play back singer. Raja ( I agree he sings some songs very well which are now very popular
and honestly he sings with heart, he has rajastani folk style, that is great, everyone likes it) but Raja is not versatile. He has his own style but he with show performance he can not survive in industry for long time.
sometimes Raja’s voice sounds very cracked in lower node. This disadvantage for being a popular play back singer. But he always stage performance. Even Aneek sang “dil se” by sukhwinder so well.
Aneek voice quality and melody in voice is flawless. He has very good control of voice and melody in higher nodes as well as lower node. This he got as gift.
Amanat also a very singer. But shankar mahadeavn style ( with lil classical touch) suits his voice . He is no doubt a great singer with good musical base BUT NOT VERSATILE. Only if producer wants certain kinds of movie then only they need amanat’s voice. so I guess all these singers are in demand in industry form time to time. But I am afraid if Raja can not keep his practice nicely , his voice quality will degrade because his voice sounds very very cracky sometimes. andhe is already 25. he needs more attention on his voice.
aneek said about Diya ..it is his mentor’s fault. He is trying dupe his carrer by all these nonsense ttalks. If somebody is a very good singer, evrybody will vote for him.

Actually all of them are very good and have different styles so it is not correct to judge them together. Zee should have categories for competing like quawali, filmi, pop, devotional etc. so that singers who specialise in a particular category can compete and really project his/her talent. Those who are all-rounders can participate in all as per their wish. Aneek, Amanat and Raja are very good and each one can make a great contribution to the music industry. Unfortunately Himesh tends to insist on making his own show unlike the other judges who are humble and passive. But I guess in every basket there must be a bad egg!
Some of you are funny. Saying that Amanat is not versatile when so many professionals cannot deny this fact makes you look silly (for the lack of a better word). Raja is great. I’m not sure why Aneek is there. Amanat is the best. Go look at youtube. Watch there performances. I found Aneek’s “phitay munh” hilarious!

All of them are INDIANS. Indians have been praising Amanat for his talent. Wonder why some of the friends here are saying he will not win because he is pakistani.

But now from the 3 remaining i’ll choose Raja and the way he sang saiyen was divine. Aneek countinue to impart love in your songs and amanat show them all your true potential. May the most versatile singer be the victor.
I think amanat is simply the best.. if a country is best ghazal singer, mr. singh vote him the winner, so there is no question that he should be the winner.. he is well experienced, and if you go back and listen to all his previous performances, he has been one of the consistent winner of sara ga ma pa… so you all vote for him and he has the voice that suites all the leading actors.. so go Amanat.

I have read all the comments and i can understand why a certain person likes one singer over the other. Its simply a matter of personal likes and dislikes. But when it comes to voting than unfortunately even if you are the best of them all, you will end up loosing if you dont have the fan following and i suppose that is the case with Amanat. There is absolutely no doubt in the minds of people who understand music that Amanat is the best but unfortunately the fan following is not with him. He is not a performer, he is just an outstanding singer who is way above this competition. People have brought Raja back three times after he was kicked out by the judges but Amanat never got booted out by any of the judges even once. this just tells you who is the best of the three. As i said the odds are against this great voice and the fact is that people like Raja for what he is and it seems to me that he is going to win. That would be a very sad day for Sa Rae Ga Ma Pa and the world of Desi music. I am not sure if my voting will make any difference but i will keep on voting for Amanat till the end.
Agreed, Amanat never needed to be hyped because his performance is the proof that he is great. As for Raja, he is definately a great performer, but I will not feel bad if he wins since Amanat is ABOVE this competition. It is simply a bonus if he does win. It comes down to these two–great performers, but Amanat who is the best singer of the two.

I agree that Himesh Reshamiya is destroying the simplicity and beauty of the show. He is bringing unwanted drama which makes the show like the all the other singing shows. However Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is defintely far superior than other talent shows, consisting of great singers and talent. Himesh should not be a part of this system, and should not especially try to dominate over, and bully Aneek who also appears to be annoyed by him. I hope that Amanat Ali will win the show because I believe that even if Raja or Aneek don’t win the show, they will still be given a chance by music composers. Amanat on the other hand may not get many chance sotherwise, because of his nationality, and the crude prejudice some people may show against him. Hopefully music will be able to bring together the two nations with Amanat as the winner. And not only for the unity of the two nations, but because he possess great depth and talent that should be broadcasted to the world. All I hope is that the innocence of the three of them does not get overthrown by Bollywood, and they are able to make their place into the industry with respect and motive rather than resort to cheapness. Hello Everyone, I have read most of the comments and I disagree with people who think anyone of these singers are not verstile. I think all the 3 singers are good. Just because we like one singer out of three dosent mean the other 2 are not good singers. If not they wouldn’t have reached at this stage. If Amanat have earned good remarks for his performances so is Aneek and Raja. Mentors and Guest have been praising these three contestants. I don’t like HR when he shows so much appreciation for only Aneek and not for Amanat and Raja. I like VS they are very good, i think they are good mentors. Finally the most important thing, who should we vote for…. well as far as I am concerned. My votes are for Amanat because he is a very good singer. He ROCKS.

Well, one must not denounce Aneek because his mentor might not be the best according to a lot of us. We must further understand, we qualify only to judge/vote the singers and the comments respective mentors make shoule remain farthest from impacting any of out decisions! We are just coming out in open, that we get impacted and do not respect our own decisions! Aneek, I belive is the best, while everyone is commndable, and the diffrrence would be very miniscule, with all my respect to Amanat and Raja! Its not been Himesh alone but everyone who guests the show, kinda gets impressed by Aneek on 8 outta 10 occasions. Quite unlikely they are all fools, and we more intellect 🙂 Food for thought!

After viewing the repetition of last week’s show and seeing that again they cut Amanat’s performance this week, it is so dissappointing. If this show has been hyped so much this time, it is not because of Aneek and Raja. There will always be Aneek’s and Raja’s on the show, but the craziness for this show this time was because of uniqe Amanat’s involvement.
If this happens again, I doubt that SRGMP will get the same number of viewers again. As for Zee earning money on our votes, obviously that is true, but I dont think that anyone would vote if there was no entertainment provided to the audience and for this episode of SRGMP has been extremely entertaining.

Raja Hassan sings with his soul and feelings and he has already proven himself with the selection of songs from day one since he joine SRGMP and Amanat has proved himself too with all the improvements he has made. Being an educator I know that when I calculate marks, there are weigtings for different assignments. Like a take-home assignment is not worth the same as your final exam. There should be a weighting system based on the public voting and Judges decision. With voting alone, you can easily mess the results (as has happened). If you only go by votes, that means, the opinion of the judges is useless?

SaReGaMaPa…was a good attempt by Zee TV to draw a greater international audience. In that sense it succeeded. The main reason for its success was the presence of a number of Pakistani singers on the show. Hadn’t that been the case, this show would not have risen higher than the level of its predecessors such as Indian Idol , voice of India, Antakshri, nach ballye etc. which were exclusively Indian shows.
However, we in Pakistan have a general feeling about India, which unfortunately was proven right once again in this show. Pakistanis think that while Indians will talk BIG, try to act BIG…but sadly enough inside there hearts they think and act small…without a fail. I am not a sarcastic crtic… but some facts are too visible to be given any other meaning.
I think if Zee TV had gone fairly about the whole thing (There are lots of evidences that they did not) there would have been much more respect for India and a huge fan following for the Indian channels in Pakistan….unfortunately another huge opportunity lost.
It is hard to beleive that Aneek who was losing in all international votings on the net and opinion pollss sprang up from nowehere and WON. Even ur own gurus were clear on who was the winner. It is even more difficult to palate that Amanat was ‘proven’ worse even than Raja Hassan, who while a great awani-type singer epert in high pitch songs, was no way closer to the mahab Ali….and that too by jsut a few thousand votes.

i think many of the commentors have watched the grand final of saregamapa 2007. Amanat has shown the audience whats the difference between he and the rest two winners (Aneek and Raja). Who doesn’t know about Ismail Darbar i would like to say them that Ismail Darbar is the National Award winner as well as Filmfare Award winner of India. The indian people should be proud of him that they have such a genius music composer. Ismail Darbar said a singer like Amanat born once in a hundred year. In addition he also said he was the mentor also saregamapa 2005 but he couldnt be able to search such a talent. Ismail Darbar made his point clear that if Amanat or another contestant would win the contest he doesn’t have any benifit. He told in saregamapa hungama that who knows something about music let them tell who is the best? Pandit Jash Raj who achieved the highest honour from Indian Govt. he told also undoubtedly Amanat is the best. If u think i am a Amanat fan then let the future decide who is the real talent. Obviously not who is copying sonu nigam (like Aneek).
